For Telegram conversion, a Figma export needs to preserve usable vector shapes, not just a convincing thumbnail. Begin with a dedicated frame for one sticker, review SVG export options, and inspect the exported file before animating it. Keep the working Figma design as your editable source.

Export a deliberate frame

Duplicate the artwork into a frame reserved for export. Make the frame boundary the intended composition boundary, with space for movement. Select that frame when exporting so you do not accidentally produce a file based on the bounds of one letter, a shadow or several unrelated icons.

A useful trial is a logo with an accompanying wordmark. If the wordmark is too small at sticker size, prepare a symbol-only version instead of enlarging the entire frame. This is a design decision; SVG export settings cannot make a crowded composition readable.

Review the SVG export settings

Add an SVG export to the selected frame. Figma documents an Outline text option and explains that its SVG stroke handling can convert strokes into filled geometry. Keep outlined text for the conversion copy when the exact lettering matters. Inspect the resulting shapes rather than assuming every option produces identical files.

If an inside or outside stroke behaves unexpectedly, review Simplify stroke. Figma notes that disabling stroke simplification can introduce a mask to reproduce the appearance. That may make a file less straightforward for another renderer, so compare the exported SVG with the original frame.

Look for image fills and effect dependencies

An image fill is still image content when it appears inside an otherwise vector design. A photograph, grain texture or pasted screenshot is not made into paths by selecting SVG as the export format. Replace these elements with a vector interpretation if you need TGS output.

For a notification icon with a soft glow, try a simple solid ring or a few intentional vector accents in the export copy. The goal is to retain the message of the design while reducing its dependence on complex rendering. Do not describe a simplified result as pixel-identical to the original.

Keep meaningful elements and correct stacking

Name the important parts in Figma and compare the exported stacking order. A foreground mouth, background face and moving accent should remain visually understandable as separate pieces. Avoid unnecessarily fragmenting a continuous shape simply because every fragment could become an animation target.

For a waving mascot, a separate hand can be useful. Individual nodes around the hand are not separate animation parts. Preserve the hand as coherent geometry and let the converter reveal which elements it can control.

  • Check that counters inside letters remain open.
  • Look for strokes replaced by masks.
  • Confirm the background is intentional.
  • Keep alternate export copies when comparing settings.

Review the exported file in the converter

Open the SVG itself before uploading, then compare its appearance with the Figma frame. Continue in the converter with Telegram login; a diagnostic copy of the selected SVG is sent to the service. Inspect the baseline before applying a larger motion preset.

If the original Figma frame looks correct but the exported SVG is wrong, fix the Figma export first. If the SVG looks correct and TGS differs, inspect unsupported SVG features or the animation settings. Keeping those two comparisons separate saves time and produces a much clearer description when you need help.
