Start with a logo mark, check, arrow or other symbol that still makes sense beside a line of text. Import the SVG, inspect its static appearance, then add a short motion if that helps the meaning. A detailed sticker illustration will not automatically become a readable emoji.
The download is a TGS file. To use it as a custom emoji, it must be added to a custom emoji pack. Exporting the file alone does not publish a pack or produce a Telegram custom emoji ID.
The free converter lets you download TGS after Telegram login. You can then publish it yourself through Telegram's @Stickers workflow. Pro adds connected actions: select Emoji in the Telegram dialog, preview it in your Telegram chat or add it to the custom emoji pack managed by this service.
The add action creates that pack when needed and appends later emoji to it. Its result includes the pack link and the custom emoji ID returned by Telegram. The dialog does not select, rename or reorganize arbitrary existing packs. Connected actions send the generated TGS to the service and Telegram.
Use this converter for one icon. For a wide banner or a composition assembled from multiple emoji, open the separate Emoji Grid Maker. It slices one SVG into 2–49 tiles, using a grid whose columns-to-rows ratio matches the source viewBox.
In the grid tool, a static composition can be downloaded as a local ZIP for free without login. Sending its generated tiles to Telegram for a preview requires login; animated grid effects require Pro. Static here describes the artwork: the ZIP still contains TGS tiles, not PNG images.
How it works
Prepare a small, readable emoji from one SVG icon. Download its TGS file or use Pro to preview it in Telegram and add it to your emoji pack.
Remove tiny lettering and unnecessary detail. Convert text to paths, leave room around the shape and keep an editable copy of the source.
Select the SVG and sign in with Telegram. Selecting the SVG sends a diagnostic copy to the service, including before login; the converter computes the animation in your browser.
Start with the still shape, then try motion. Check the symbol at a small size and on light and dark backgrounds before exporting.
Download the TGS for your own publishing workflow, or choose Emoji in the Telegram dialog to preview it or add it to the service-managed emoji pack with Pro.
Inspect the downloaded TGS with the checker. Open the resulting pack in Telegram and test how the emoji appears in the intended message; a structural check does not guarantee Telegram acceptance.

Format
Telegram's vector TGS requirements use a 512 × 512 canvas for both animated stickers and emoji. The 100 × 100 emoji requirement belongs to the static PNG/WebP and video WebM formats. Do not shrink a TGS canvas to 100 × 100 just because the emoji appears beside text.
A TGS file does not decide whether the result belongs to a regular sticker pack or a custom emoji pack. Choose Emoji for the custom emoji action. Telegram sets the rules for using those packs; our Pro plan does not include or replace Telegram Premium.

No. Telegram assigns the ID after the emoji is added to a custom emoji pack. After a successful add-to-emoji-pack action here, use Copy emoji ID in the result. The preview action does not expose a reusable ID.
No. Pro unlocks features of SVG to TGS. Telegram Premium and the rules for using custom emoji belong to Telegram and must be considered separately.
