Use vector paths and shapes from a design editor. The converter reads a static SVG, adds motion with presets or exports a still composition, and creates a compressed TGS file. Existing SVG animation code is not the input animation timeline.
These files contain pixels rather than editable vector paths. They cannot be uploaded directly to this converter. Trace or redraw the artwork, simplify it, and export a vector SVG. Placing a photo inside an SVG does not turn the photo into vector shapes.
TGS contains gzip-compressed Lottie JSON, but this editor does not import JSON or TGS. Start with your original SVG artwork here. A Lottie animation must also meet Telegram’s supported-feature and file-size requirements; compression alone cannot fix an incompatible animation.
How it works

Use a vector SVG. For a raster image, prepare vector paths first; for an existing animation, keep its original project for a compatible exporter.
Select the SVG file and sign in with Telegram. A diagnostic copy of the selected SVG is sent to the service before sign-in.
Choose static mode or a preset. Check the loop, transparent areas, edge movement and any missing text or shapes.
Download .tgs when validation passes. Reduce path complexity for size errors, and check the canvas or duration settings for format errors.
Use @Stickers to add the exported file to a sticker or emoji pack. Inspect the result at its real display size.

Format
TGS is a gzip-compressed JSON document containing Lottie vector animation data. It is not a GIF, a video or an SVG with a different extension. Decompressing it gives animation JSON; it does not recover the original design file.
The downloadable example below shows all three stages: an SVG square, readable Lottie JSON describing a rotating square, and the compressed 327-byte TGS. It is a format example, not a promise that every SVG will produce a file this small.

Not directly here. Trace or redraw the image as vector paths, remove embedded raster content, and save an SVG. Automatic tracing may need simplification to keep the TGS within the size limit.
No. Telegram supports a restricted set of animation features. The source animation must meet those requirements before TGS compression. This converter does not import Lottie JSON.
